After the withdrawal of the limit for the Turkish citizenship to 250.000 USD, the house sales to the record-breaking foreigners increased 32% in the first 9 months of this year. Almost half of this figure is from Istanbul. The end of the year, surpassing the record will refresh 40.000 units over the sale of foreign matter entering Turkey the figure will exceed 35 billion pounds.

After reducing the amount for Turkish citizenship by investment from 1 million USD to 250.000 USD, the housing sales are increasing day by day. In 2018, when the regulation was put into practice, housing sales to the foreigners increased by 78.4% to 39.663 and reached 32.000 units with a historical record in the first 9 months of 2019.

With the addition of October, November and December to the 2019 figures, the amount of house sales sold at the end of the year is expected to approach the 45.000 band. This figure means that there will be an increase of 100% compared to the sale of 22.000 units in 2017.

On the other hand, in the sales of housing to foreigners, the list was almost 5 provinces that have not changed at all. The summit was followed by Istanbul without a reference, followed by Antalya, Ankara, Bursa and Yalova.

According to TÜİK data, almost half of the 32.000 houses sold to foreigners in the first 9 months of the year (14.279 units) were sold in Istanbul. Istanbul was followed by Antalya with 6.257 residences, Ankara with 1.812 residences, Bursa with 1.658 residences and Yalova with 1.298 residences.
